Water Snake

Water Snake is a site-specific public installation in Kingston, Ontario, that transforms an underused waterfront laneway into a playful, sculptural landscape. Designed by RAW in collaboration with Nidus3D and a local artist, the sinuous rib-like structure draws inspiration from water’s movement and a snake in motion, offering places to sit, climb, and gather. 3D-printed in concrete and animated with bold hand-painted graphics, the installation merges digital precision with artisanal craft, while fostering community engagement and creating a vibrant new landmark for the city.
