Fitness Follies

Situated alongside Mississauga’s Waterfront trail, Fitness Follies was a collection of sculptural objects that celebrate sport, culture, and the Pan Am/Parapan Am games. Bridging the sport and art communities, three colourful and interactive installations sought to incite discovery, play, and physical challenge. Taking inspiration from the body’s motions and the language of sport and game, these thematically related pieces provided a circuit of physical activities and created enticing landmarks that framed various park activities such as the Parapan Am torch relay.
