Located in the centre of Toronto’s historic St. James Park, the new pavilion contributes to the park’s reinvigoration - preserving its character while supporting cultural and social programming. Serving as a focal point where pathways converge, it offers a welcoming space by day and night for both informal use and performance events. Inspired by the Gothic proportions of St. James Cathedral, the structure features 16 soaring glulam arches joined by an undulating wood trellis, creating an open, airy environment that is both sheltered and connected to the surrounding landscape.
