Winter Stations

Public Exhibition

Year
2015 - Present

Winter Stations is an annual international design competition and exhibition that transforms Toronto’s frozen beachfront into a vibrant public art experience. Each winter, lifeguard stations along the shoreline are reimagined by artists, architects, and designers from around the world, bringing bold, temporary installations to the waterfront. Free and open to the public, Winter Stations celebrates creativity, community, and the revitalization of public space - inviting visitors to engage with art, design, and the city in the heart of winter.
